The man that revolutionized child labor with just a single picture. Hine studied sociology at the university of Chicago, New York, and Columbia. In 1908, he became the photographer for the National Child Labor Committee (NCLC). Over the next decade, Lewis documented child labor, with focus on labor in the Carolina Piedmont.
